  • We have list of things to do to prepare your property for a photoshoot!

    The most important things are:

Declutter by up to 50%, as much as you can. This means any little piles, unnecessary furniture, extraneous animal stuff, fridge magnets, family photos, etc.

Make beds and stage rooms. Make them look like what you’d want to see at a nice vacation rental or hotel. Clean windows and mirrors.

Synchronize all the blinds facing outside, it really looks professional when they all match. Our favorite is blinds all the way down but opened up so we can see in (and feel invited).

Make sure the sprinklers are turned off, trash cans are hidden, and cars are out of the driveway. Exterior lights should be on.

Lawn is mowed and edged, as well as all plants and trees looking neat.

If you and the photographer decide to have lights on inside the property, have them all on before the photographer gets there, don’t forget the light above the kitchen sink!

  • If a photoshoot is cancelled within 24 hours of the booked time without rescheduling, there’s a 50% booking fee. There are no additional fees if rescheduling.

  • If there’s enough time in the schedule, the more the merrier!

Behind The Lens

Zachary Bascom

Zachary Bascom - Dry Sky

Zachary’s eye for light and form started behind a film camera in high school and sharpened through a BA in Cinema and Media Communications in 2008. What began with portraits soon turned into a deep love for architecture—the symmetry, the space, the subtlety of detail. Over the last decade, he’s carved out a niche photographing multi-million dollar homes, magazine features, and elevated visual storytelling through drone work, precision lighting, and an almost obsessive attention to angle and composition. Today, Zachary brings that same passion to every shoot—whether it’s a cozy craftsman or a hillside estate. This isn’t just photography. It’s perspective, curated.
